Wyndeham Visual Communications is looking for "growth in the pan-European packaging markets" by opening a new packaging design and artwork studio in central London.
The company, which last month was the subject of a management buyout, said the new facility would enable it to cope with the additional demand for work.
"We are now able to offer a complete multi-language artwork service from a convenient location in the City," said chief executive Mick Tooley.
The company has also appointed James Norris as business development director. Norris previously worked for Alcan Packaging in its procurement and best practice team.
Tooley said that Norris' 17 years' experience in packaging would make him a "real asset" to the business.
In November, Tooley and two other senior managers led an MBO of the Wyndeham Press Group division, which includes design firms Wyndeham Kestrel and JGA Design Strategies.
Packaging accounts for £15m of a £23m turnover, and Tooley said that the firm was looking to make acquisitions. |
