ISPE will offer a two-day seminar in Amsterdam on 26-27 November: “Packaging Challenges for Tomorrow”. This seminar has been designed, with industry experts, to focus on some of the packaging challenges that the pharmaceutical industry will face in the coming years.
In recognition of the current and growing threat from counterfeit products, it will discuss the creation of an anti-counterfeiting strategy and review a variety of the technologies available to counteract the problem. A workshop will provide a forum for detailed discussion.
The recently launched ISO standard for pharmaceutical component suppliers will be discussed in relation to its content and how it can be used to drive up component quality and increase production line efficiency.
The EU Braille directive and its ramifications for supply to this market will be discussed. A European regulator has been invited to give an update on the latest EU regulatory developments, giving an opportunity for informal discussions about current issues.
Industry experts will look at case studies on late stage customisation, validation and improving OEE.
