You see a pick & place project linked with an end-of-line packing. This is done with 16 ABB-robots, a buffer system, an Ilapak flowpacker and the necessary transport systems. The line has a capacity of 52,000 products per hour.

Two ABB IRB 140-robots denest the trays and place them on the conveyor belt one by one. The flexpickers ABB IRB 340 place the products in the trays with vision.The filled trays are transported to an Ilapak Delta 3000LD flowpack packing machine. This machine takes care of the automatic lead-in, gassing, quality control and automatic foil change.

In a second phase, you will see even more packing applications: shape, fill and close topload boxes, and place them in cardboard boxes.
