HP today announced that Oliver Printing, a Twinsburg, Ohio-based commercial printing firm, has installed a six-color HP Indigo press 5500 as its first-ever digital press solution. With the new digital press, the 83-year-old business is creating a competitive advantage for itself as it expands the digital printing platform further into high-end marketing collateral applications requiring the color accuracy and fidelity possible with HP Indigo presses and HP DreamColor Technologies.

The HP Indigo press 5500 replaced a DI-offset press, giving Oliver Printing the ability to produce short-run static and personalized work with the only digital press line that allows six-color printing and production using true Pantone-licensed spot colors for important client brand-color matching. The HP Indigo press 5500 also includes HP DreamColor Technologies, a series of tools such as HP Professional PANTONE emulation and six-color HP IndiChrome process printing, to better ensure color accuracy and consistency from print to print.
