National Adhesives, a leader in adhesive technology has introduced ETIMELT 396, a new labelling adhesive which provides superior adhesion to all plastic and paper labelling stocks on metal, glass and plastic containers – wet or dry. The new high-performance adhesive eliminates common problems such as stringing, throwing and flagging, ensuring the labelled product looks at its best every time.
With big improvements to machining, ETIMELT reduces maintenance costs and increases line up-time. Superior thermal stability reduces charring in pots, and the elimination of stringing keeps build-up to a minimum. As a result the production line can run for longer between cleaning and maintenance to improve productivity.
ETIMELT 396 has been developed with versatility front of mind. With high tack and light colour it delivers a no-label look for a wide variety of beverage and food containers including water, soft drinks, dairy products, jarred and bottled foods and household products.
“National Adhesives focuses on developing products which reduce production line hiccups while maintaining the quality of the finished label,” commented Gerard ten Bolscher, Marketing Manager Europe at National Adhesives. “With ETIMELT 396, the final product is consistently perfect, eliminating adhesion problems and minimising the need for disruptive maintenance.”
“We have virtually eliminated flagging on our toughest labels. With the tackiness and pot stability at all speeds, this product has been a real problem solver,” commented a line operator for a major contract packager. National Adhesives
