Compacting and Recycling

At Mil-tek we believe that compacting and recycling is the only sustainable way of discarding packaging waste. Not only from an environmental point of view but also from an economic point of view. In many countries baled cardboard and plastic as well as EPS (Expandable Polystyrene) sell at high prices for recycling. Mil-tek has contacts to recycler in most countries and areas to get the maximum value for your packaging waste and as a minimum have it picked up free of charge.

We have the most comprehensive range of balers on the market. We have the balers with the smallest footprint (655 mm x 410 mm) up to balers that makes bales of up to 400 kg.

Our balers give you the highest degree of compaction because our air technology enables our balers to apply constant pressure to the waste, something you can only achieve with air. This simply means better compaction with less energy.

Hygiene is no problem with an air-driven baler. Just hose it down with water as there are now electrical parts to worry about.

Mil-tek Baler Model 205/205TS

The Mil-tek Balers Model 205 and 205TS are very powerful balers with a very small foot print (W: 655 mm – D: 410 mm)

It can take on a Bale weight in plastic up to 120 kg and cardboard up to 60 kg. The Bale size is about height -900 mm, width- 660 mm, depth- 400 mm.

Mil-tek Baler Model 306

The Mil-tek Baler Model 306 is a very versatile bale press for large amounts of cardboard and plastic and even EPS.

It can take on a Bale weight in plastic up to 225 kg and cardboard up to 125 kg. The Bale size is about height -830 mm, width- 900 mm, depth- 700 mm.

Compactors

X-Press – the ultimate compactor for mixed waste

Imagine kitchen waste in a restaurant with lots of smelly bags and bins, but not with a Mil-tek X-Press. You just place the waste filled bags in the X-Press wagon and compact it in the X-Press plastic bag placed in the wagon. The waste is reduced by up to 80% and the bag can be placed in a bin. No mess and no smell – and room for a lot more bags in the bin than before.

The Mil-tek X-Press is mobile as the wagon can be wheeled around the premises collecting the waste and wheeled back to the compacting unit when full. Thus it is flexible, efficient and hygienic.

EPS Compactors – Unique solutions for compacting EPS (Expandable Polystyrene)

EPS boxes are the most common packaging material in the fish. For hygienic reasons the EPS boxes cannot be reused and therefore the fish industry have a big amount of EPS waste.

In order to reduce the volume of EPS waste several fish companies have chosen the Mil-tek EPS 1800 compactor. Despite the fact that fish boxes are wet and slimy, they can be put directly into the compactor, where a reduction from 40 to 1 is achieved.

White Goods Retailers and Computer Retailers have a lot of EPS to discard of. Putting the EPS into a Mil-tek EPS compactor not only reduces the volume by 40:1. It also saves the companies money and indeed makes them money as clean EPS sell at very high prices for recycling.

Mil-tek Model X-Press 100/200/300

The Miltek X-Press 100, 200 & 300 are waste compactors for mixed waste. The waste is compacted directly into a plastic bag enabling you to compact even moist waste in a convenient and hygienic way.

Mil-tek Model EPS 900/1800

The Mil-tek Model EPS 900 and 1800 are compactors for reducing EPS (Expandable Polystyrene) waste by 40:1.

The Model 900 has a capacity of 15 kg/hour and Model 1800 does about 80 kg/hour. They provide a volume reduction of Min. 40:1. It can take a block weight of 250-300 gram/liter.
