Since 2003, Mark-O-Print has been a partner of Hewlett Packard and is authorized to manufacture units with HP technology by license agreement.
Under the HP license, printing systems for the industrial application of Mark-O-Print are designed, developed and produced.
Unobtrusive, Unproblematic, Uncomplicated
With the Compactline series systems you can do your coding directly on the packaging line. The compact size of the system allows it to be used even where space is limited.
Thermal inkjet coders are used for ab¬sorbent and semi-absorbent materials, coding font sizes up to 100 mm, and coding speeds up to 240 m per minute.
The wide scope of applications ranges from folding boxes and cartons, trays, aluminium seals and blister packs to printing on wood strips or paper labels.
Due to built-in heating elements, Compactline series thermal inkjet coders drive heated ink droplets through a nozzle at high velocity onto the material to be printed, for example folding boxes, trays, aluminum safety closures, pharma blister packs, wood strips and paper labels. The coders are extremely compact. Coding can therefore be applied directly on the packaging line and in any other application under cramped conditions.
Benefits:
- No maintenance required
- Totally clean handling due to HP cartridge technology
- Print heights up to 100 mm and freely designable layouts
- Coding speeds up to 240 m per minute
- Brilliant resolution up to 600 dpi
- Unique HP ink cartridge technology tried and tested in millions of applications
- Low running costs

- Database and network compatible
- Representation of barcodes, logos, counters, expiry dates and automatic time/date controls
Compactline 2.0: Concentrated Technology in Mobile Phone Design
The compact inkjet coder received the 2005 innovation award in the logistics category.
Compact and innovative: Compactline 2.0 is ideally suited to carry out a variety of coding tasks with a maximum print height of 4.5 mm. Its future-oriented design also convinced the jury of the German "“Mittelstand" (SME) Initiative: Compactline 2.0 received the 2005 Innovation Award in the logistics category.
Compactline 2.0 is versatile: it allows the application of manufacturing data, storage life data, consecutive numbering, date and time in addition to other information. User oriented and user friendly, it simplifies text and data entry by way of a 4 line, graphics capable LC display with combined membrane keyboard. The system is ready to use in the twinkling of an eye: simply insert the ink cartridge with a single hand movement and you are ready to go. The ink is in the ink channels of the print cartridge - its viscosity prevents it from leaking out.
Compactline 2.5: 1 Head and 2 Head Models
Reliable, flexible and fast - these are the characteristic features of the Compactline 2.5 Inkjet Coder. Typical markings direct on the packaging line - on paper board containers and trays made of cardboard and corrugated cardboard - are product names, product descriptions, quantity data, manufacturing and expiry dates, barcodes, serial numbers, date and time, and many more. Compactline 2.5 delivers printing of the highest quality: absorbent and less absorbent materials are coded with resolutions up to 600 dpi at speeds up to 30 meters per minute (up to 240 meters per minute at 75 dpi). Compactline 2.5 is optionally available with one or two print heads; in the two head version it prints font heights up to 25 mm (single head version 12.5 mm).
Compactline Cube: Small in Size, High in Performance
Quick, clean and yet exceptionally compact: despite its small dimensions, Compactline "Cube" is equipped with highly developed PC technology thanks to which it codes smooth, absorbent products extremely quickly and cleanly. Based on tried and tested HP technology, it can for example print product specifications, quantity data, expiry dates, barcodes, serial numbers or GS1 compliant Datamatrix ECC200 code in brilliant resolution up to 600 dpi. The Cube is also practical: as each cartridge also contains the print head, when the cartridge is replaced you virtually have a new printer. In addition to this comes a very high degree of user friendliness, as the content and parameters of print jobs can be entered directly over the built-in 10.4" touch screen monitor following a self explanatory, menu-driven procedure.
The comprehensively equipped Compactline Cube XL is available in addition to the Compactline Cube SL basic version. It offers a number of additional options, for example more extensive representation of codes, access to removed directories (in the network forexample), password levels and a database - as well as an interface function.
Compactline 3.0: 4 Head and 8 Head Series
Convenient and reliable: Compactline 3.0 is the ideal partner for high quality coding tasks with barcodes and graphics. Two-sided coding is also possible. Depending on the font height, 20 text lines and over can be realized per print head group (one group comprises a maximum of 4 type HP 2.5 print heads). A further convincing argument in favour of the Compactline 3.0 is the fact that it offers any desired combination of texts with barcodes and graphics. When equipped with the optional central ink supply, ink can be delivered simultaneously to up to 4 ink cartridges.
Bulk Ink System II: Large Ink Supply System For Up To 8 Heads
The Bulk systems idea is to reduce operational cost and increases availability of HP based printers. Bulk ink system is available as an option on your inkjet coding systems. The built-in 350 ml or 1000 ml ink tank can supply up to 8 print cartridges with ink simultaneously.
Ink Cartridges: Consistent Writing Quality
The printer cartridges with print head for thermal inkjet coders (with 42 ml capacity) contain environmentally compatible water and solvent-based inks. Intelligent control electronics monitor the ink level in each cartridge and transmit a warning message to the controller when required (e.g. low ink level).
The diversity of the systems and the associated choice of inks allow adjustment to the widest variety of individual requirements. These range from adhesion to metal, plastic, glass or paper to quick-drying, water-soluble and pigmented properties, among many others.
