Direct Peel® Can Ends

Direct Peel® Ends combines expertise in can making and material technology. Ends are applied to a can body by heat sealing a flexible material to the can lacquer or a body coating system. It is recommended that the end is applied by Impress to assure quality of the seal by production in a product-free environment and by passing through sensitive leak testers before transport. The empty cans can then be delivered pre-assembled with a plastic over-closure to give protection to the end during filling and to the contents once opened by the consumer.
The ends are easily opened by consumers of all ages with 100% of contents dispensed. Excellent print and embossed quality is achievable for high shelf impact in store. Direct Peel® Ends are currently available in 83mm diameter - development of other sizes will be undertaken to meet customer needs. Small volumes can be produced for test markets.

The aerosol concept was patented by Schmalbach, one of Impress` predecessor companies, in 1949. Today Impress supplies aerosols in several sizes to European markets from two modern, dedicated plants. Highly decorated cans are produced for premium products through state-of-the-art studios and print shops.
Outstanding product quality is achieved by excellent process control and integrity is ensured by pressure testing of all cans in-line in the final stages of production. High reliability in both product integrity and delivery, together with short lead times in origination, make Impress the ideal aerosol supplier, for brand owners and for contract packers alike.
