The Croatian design agency “Tridvajedan” won first prize at the European competition “ED Awards” which is currently being held in Athens, for the packaging of the cement bags “Optimo” and “Strukto” made for the factory “Cemex-Dalmacijacement”.

The awards will be handed over during a ceremony, and the awarded designs will be published in ED Awards yearly release, as a summary of the best design achievements in Europe, said the company “Tridvajedan”.

ED Awards is a pan-European institution which awards the best achievements in the fields of graphic design, illustrations and multimedia. It does business in cooperation with the 12 most influential European magazines for visual communications, whose representatives are also part of the panel of judges for the awards.

The same packaging was also declared the best by the I.D. Magazine’s panel of judges, which is comprised of world famous designers and the editorial team of the magazine. Competing with the world’s best achievements in design, in the category of packaging, the works will be published in a special edition of the magazine I.D. “Annual Design Review” in August this year – said “Tridvajedan”, an agency which deals with managing integrated market communications.
