Graham Packaging Company LP is planning a $12 million expansion of its manufacturing facility in Altavista.
Governor Tim Kaine announced the project Thursday. Kaine said the expansion will create 10 jobs.
York, Pennsylvania-based Graham Packaging manufactures custom blow-molded plastic containers for foods, beverages and other items. It has 83 plants in North America, Europe and South America and had $2.49 billion in sales in 2007.
