Founder and current president Arthur Graham incorporated the company in 1967 as Free-Flow Packaging Corporation to manufacture and sell FLO-PAK loosefill packaging.
In the last decade, the company expanded its product lines, adopted the trade name FP International and changed its legal name to Free-Flow Packaging International, Inc.
FP International is a privately held company with 550 employees worldwide and over $100 million (U.S.) dollars) in annual sales in 2005.
FP International manufactures innovative protective packaging products and packaging systems. Products include packaging-made-on-site, bubble, air cushions, Kraft paper cushioning and ready-to-use products, polyethylene foam, loosefill made of 100% recycled polystyrene or cornstarch and Kraft/bubble mailers. The company also designs and installs custom dispensing/storage systems for air cushions and loosefill.
In the United States, the company has manufacturing facilities in California, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky and Massachusetts. The company has wholly owned subsidiaries in France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and a sales office in Australia.
In addition to manufacturing protective packaging, FP International recycles polystyrene foam (EPS) packaging and uses the polystyrene it recycles to make new loosefill packaging. With five recycling operations in the U.S. and one in the United Kingdom, the company recycled over 11 million pounds of EPS in 2004.
FP International leads in the development of innovative air cushion packaging.
The new MINI PAK’R™ air cushion machine will be an important addition to any distribution centre as well as providing space-saving solutions to small businesses and pack-and-ship stores.

The MINI PAK’R machine was named “Best of Show for Equipment and Manufacturing” at the 2007 National Convention of the Associated Mail & Parcel Centres.

NOVUS® Packaging Systems
The innovative NOVUS C machine produces a variety of air cushions from large cushions to quilt/pad shapes. Produce bubble on demand at an astonishing 70 lineal feet per minute. It's the most compact and fastest inflation system available, making packaging material on demand easier than ever. The NOVUS machine uses 16" wide, low density polyethylene film (#4). Four different film configurations are available.
FASTTrack® Paper Packaging Systems
There are a variety of FASTTrack® systems that make paper void fill and cushioning material on site: the new FASTTrack® PAPER PAK'R that dispenses paper at up to 5 ½ feet per second, is easy to operate and extremely reliable; the FS-1 System for medium to large users; the FS-2 Straddle System for medium to large on-line over-the-conveyor applications; the tabletop Benchmate system that can be used on an existing packing table or mounted on a stand over a conveyor line.
Custom or Standard Loosefill Storage
BULKAIR® systems combine overhead, out-of-the way storage with fast, efficient loosefill dispensing at multiple pack stations. From small to large distribution centres, FP International's BULKAIR engineers can custom design and build a dispensing system to fit your requirements.
FLO-PAK® Loosefill
FLO-PAK loosefill is made of 100% recycled polystyrene. Its lightweight figure-eight shapes flow for perfect protection and quick packing. FLO-PAK loosefill is cost effective, doesn't chip or break so shipped items arrive safely. All FLO-PAK loosefill is given an anti-static bath so it does not cling to clothes or products. Electronic- grade FLO-PAK loosefill has an additional anti-static treatment to ensure ESD protection for sensitive products.
