Innovia Films was established in October 2004, following the acquisition of the films business of the UCB Group by a consortium led by Dennis Matthewman and Candover Partners Ltd, a leading provider of equity for European buyouts.

Innovia Films manufacture two specialty materials – Cellulose films and Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP). To these base films highly specialized surface coatings and metalized finishes are added according to customer order requirements.

Their unique process technology, much of which is developed, designed and built in-house, is one of their core strengths and one of the elements which helps us to maintain their leading position in key markets.
