EskoArtwork India confirms that it has maintained absolute market share in supplying packaging pre-production workflow solutions to the folding carton and flexible converters.
After a successful DRUPA, EskoArtwork is now consolidating its market position globally and in the Indian sub-continent. EskoArtwork India caters to the South Asia market which includes India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. EskoArtwork has been gearing up to fulfill the growing demands for quality packaging in the South Asian region - especially India.
Mr. Hyuma Mahadevia, Executive Director of Yamir Packaging mentioned that, “ Yamir integrated EskoArtwork Software for the pre-press as it aligns with Yamir's philosophy of "Efficient Systems". EskoArtwork has given momentum to our systems leading to Customer Satisfaction. Four decades of cumulative experience at Yamir translates into a keen desire to offer the best in packaging solutions to customers. Creating an in-house pre-press facility was an articulation of the very same desire to pursue excellence. Yamir's commitment in this area became obvious when it chose the best that the industry could provide, EskoArtwork and its cutting edge technology. This partnership with EskoArtwork has ensured that the pre-press department of Yamir continues to provide utmost satisfaction to its clients.”
The retail marketing boom is fuelling the Indian Packaging Market. The entire packaging supply chain (all people involved from idea to shelf) is now looking at a seamless integration between all stakeholders. Converters shoulder an important responsibility of having to look at the most effective method of “Printing it right - First time, all-the-time”. EskoArtwork plays a major role in fulfilling the needs of converters today and like what Mr. Krunal Shah, Executive Director of Award Packaging says, “ EskoArtwork is a one-stop provider for packaging pre-production solutions and a dedicated partner to the packaging supply chain ”
Some of the key tools purchased by Indian converters are ArtiosCAD for Structural Design, PackEdge & ArtPro for full-featured packaging preproduction, DeskPack for Graphics Design, Plato for Assembly of Graphics and Structure and Plate Layout, FlexProof/E for color accurate proofing and FlexRip to apply the screens and transfer the 1-bit TIFF to any 3 rd party CTP, and CIP3 data to the CIP3-enabled Press.
All these converters have also invested in a Kongsberg XE or XL die-less Sample Maker. The Kongsberg enables converters to make short-run pre-printed samples, accurate mock-ups and cuts Varnish Blankets.
EskoArtwork have recently completed installation of their cutting tables and packaging workflow with companies like The Manipal Group, PR Packaging, Noble Printing Press, Award Packaging, Yamir Packaging and Singhania Offset. These customers are now ready to feed their third-party CTPs directly. All these customers invested in the EskoArtwork tools in stages over the last one year. The phased implementation has given time to the operators to master the pre-press before the CTP was installed. Mr. Vijay Chamaria, Managing Director of Noble Printing Press has commented, “ Pre-press investments have to be in a phased manner and that has benefited us in understanding the EskoArtwork tools better. Our relationship with EskoArtwork started at IPEX 2006 where we bought just the Editor Software. Meanwhile we added more seats to cope with the artwork demand. We have now invested also in an EskoArtwork FlexRip and its special screening which will drive our CTP and deliver CIP3 to our press. We added a Kongsberg cutting table to provide our customers with production-accurate mock-ups and Visualizer software to help them to accurately preview special printing effects on their computer screen. Partnering EskoArtwork benefits us in terms of performance and reputation to address the growing demands in this competitive world of packaging ”
Rene Delbar, Senior Vice President Business Development EskoArtwork, in his recent visit to India, was positively surprised by the rapid growth of the Indian packaging market. I congratulate and thank all the customers who have put their confidence in our products, and I would like to confirm EskoArtwork’s long term commitment to the growing Indian/Global market ”.
