Borstar bimodal PE grades are the preferred materials used by many film producers for the production of high quality film products.
 
Mechanical film properties like toughness, stiffness and easy opening, down-gauging, homogeneous appearance, improved processing and high production regularity are the key elements for this new Borstar grade.

Borstar is highly appreciated by customers for its homogeneity and silk-like, matt film surface and is well known for its mechanical toughness. However, there are some film areas where optical clarity is required. With the new Borstar grade FB4250T, Borealis has succeeded in developing a new grade which meets the majority of the necessary transparency properties within heavy duty film application segments, such as: cover films, protecting films and shrink films.
