With its FXS 5100 filling machine, Bosch Packaging Technology again proves its competence in the field of syringe processing. Featuring a high output of up to 600 syringes per minute, the FXS is a high-performance machine ideal for the filling of pre-sterilized nested syringes, such as SCF. Bosch engineers based the FXS syringe transport system on the proven MLD and FLS series, adapting it for nest processing applications. The servo technology allows for precise adjustments to the production process and ensures the consistently high quality of filling and sealing operations. Reliable rotary piston pumps guarantee accurate filling volumes.

The servo-controlled motion parameters of the pump station and the settings for the transport system and Pharma Handling Unit are stored together as a complete formula that can be reproduced at any time at the push of a button. The FXS 5100 offers consistent and reliable operation even at high output levels.

The closing station is easy to operate and offers high process security and functional stability. The sorting device is located on the operator side of the machine allowing easy access for refilling. The stoppers are positioned by cylindrical bores and then accurately pushed into the syringes.

Bosch engineers have developed a line concept which integrates all processes. The line includes an automated bag opener (ABO) as well as an automatic tub opening system (ATO) for the gentle and low-particle opening of tubs. The concept is complemented by an isolator specifically designed for the FXS 5100. Due to the control system’s abilty to coordinate interfaces during processing, even complex applications can be realized quickly and economically.
