
Software giant expands to meet demand for new products
EskoArtwork announces the expansion of its UK sales team to service increased interest and demand for its innovative product portfolio. Following the merger and consolidation between Esko and Artwork Systems, the UK sales team, operating from offices based in Redditch has appointed new staff and now totals 26.
Paul Bates, UK & Ireland, regional sales manager, says: “In a challenging business atmosphere EskoArtwork is evolving and growing. Our integrated product range of innovative and dynamic new software has stimulated massive interest from the market and we have had to review our existing sales provision. With the merger we have not just acquired Artwork Systems personnel; we have strengthened our product portfolio utilizing combined leading edge technology that is exciting and ahead of the competition. We had to review our sales strategy and take on new employees to maintain and build our customer base in the UK & Ireland.”
Within the past 12 months EskoArtwork has gone from a team of 5 sales personnel to a team of 13. The team has been restructured to include Territory Sales Managers, Application, Software and CAD/CAM Support Managers, Business Consultants as well as secretarial and admin support. Based in Redditch, Worcestershire, the sales team covers the widest geography over UK & Ireland. Amazingly the team between them represents 259 years of experience and skill.
One new member of the team is Nick Woods. He has been appointed by EskoArtwork as Sales Manager to cover the south of England and Wales. Nick brings a strong background of skills and knowledge gained from long experience with Barco. Most recently Nick spent five years in an international role with Agfa. Paul Bates says: “We are very fortunate to have Nick in our team. He fits perfectly and has the ideal skill set to take on the area of the south of England and Wales for EskoArtwork.“
One key plus in the new structure is that EskoArtwork can offer the customer comprehensive advice and implementation support through it’s consultancy service. This underpins the EskoArtwork business strategy of customer service and satisfaction. As Paul Bates concludes: “I strongly believe EskoArtwork has by far the best software products on the market. In my 10 years with the company I can honestly say – we now have the strongest product portfolio ever. I am proud of where we are now and where we are going – the ‘sails’ are up!” EskoArtwork
