COLD SEAL BLISTER PACKAGING
Ecobliss cold seal blister packaging is a combination of a pressure sensitive fold-over blister card and a transparent blister. The blister is trapped between two pieces of board that are bonded under pressure without using any heat. Together they form a beautiful highly visible presentation of your product.
A range from very simple to highly automated packaging equipment is available for supporting the packing process. The Ecobliss cold seal blister packaging therefore lends itself perfectly for any size of packaging job, small or large.
Ecobliss blister cards are only printed on one side of the cardboard. The pressure sensitive adhesive on the back of the blister card allows the inner section of the card to be transferred easily. After transferring this part, all sides of the package, front, back and even the part behind the blister, are all showing the printed colors. This unique feature allows the use of inexpensive cardboard, simply because after packing only the front of the printed board is visible. Only pressure, no heat is required to perfectly seal the blister pack.
Ecobliss is perfectly suitable for packing many, many products, such as: electronic parts, automotive parts, domestic appliances, printer cartridges, stationary, lamps, batteries, agriculture products, but it can also be used as secondary food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, or simply as promotional packs or greeting cards.

Standard Cold Seal Blister Package
A standard cold seal blister package is the combination of a pressure sensitive fold-over card and a thermoformed PET or PVC blister.
The blister is trapped between the front and back panel of the fold-over card and just applying pressure makes a perfect board-to-board seal. The blister card can be made of recycled (grey back) or white back cardboard in any desired thickness. The blister can be produced from PET or PVC.
Easy Opening Blister
An Ecobliss easy opening blister package is the combination of a pressure sensitive fold-over card and a thermoformed PET or PVC blister. The design of an easy opening blister is always focussed on giving the customer easy access to the product that is inside the package
Ecobliss developed a range of easy opening blister packaging designs. One of Ecobliss’ most popular easy opening designs is a package where a part of the cardboard is bend over, to enable the blister to slide out.
The variety of products that can be packed into the easy opening type of blister is almost unlimited. Batteries, tapes, automotive lamps, sparkplugs, disposables, energy saving lamps etc. are typical products to be packed in an easy opening blister.
Dispenser Blister
An Ecobliss dispenser blister package is the combination of a pressure sensitive fold-over card and a thermoformed PET or PVC blister.
This type of blister is developed for the purpose of dispensing product by taking out only a portion of the total content of the blister pack. Tearing a perforation strip on one side of the package often opens the Ecobliss dispenser package. Removing this strip (temper evidence) allows the dispensing mechanism that can be either by sliding or rotating the blister, depending on the design. By sliding or rotating limited access is created to the content of the blister and a portion can easily be removed. The pack can be closed again by sliding or rotating the blister. The remaining packed products stay packed perfectly well until the pack is opened again for further use of the content.
Reclosable Blister
An Ecobliss reclosable blister package is the combination of a pressure sensitive fold-over card and a thermoformed PET or PVC blister.
This type of blister is developed for the purpose of taking out one or more products from a blister package after which it can be reclosed. Tearing a perforation strip on one side of the package opens the Ecobliss reclosable package. Removing this strip (temper evidence) allows the blister inside of the package to slide or rotate, and give access to the product(s) inside the package. In case not all products are used, or for some reason the product is placed back, it is possible to close the package again by sliding or rotating the blister.
Double Sided Blister
An Ecobliss double-sided blister package is the combination of a pressure sensitive fold-over card and two thermoformed PET or PVC blister (front and back blister).
Double sided blisters are typically used to show both, the front and the back of the product. Also double-sided blisters are used to give the package freestanding properties. In many cases where double-sided blister are used the weight of the product is an important factor. By bringing the weight of the product to the centre the package will hang perfectly straight in the shelf. Double-sided packages are sometimes used to avoid very deep blisters. Optically it is a much nicer solution to divide the height of the product in two.
