About Us

We produce signing, marking and coding systems for demanding clients all over the world.

Our products are manufactured by qualified experts at a production space of about 3,000 square meters. We produce rationally and cost efficiently on modern machines for about 28,000 clients from fields such as steel plants, automakers, chemical industry, electric industry, mechanical industry, food and pharmaceutical industries, metal and plastics industries.
 
Our line comprises more than 15,000 items, starting from simple punches up to the most complicated numbering head specially made to customer's specification. Our line of marking systems ranges from hand rollers up to technically perfect CNC-marking machines.

In particular in case of difficult jobs our clients are supported by our engineering department. RÖLTGEN engineers develop new solutions to problems in a daily dialogue with our clients ensuring smooth integration of our systems About 30 sorts of steel used by us guarantee high precision and constant quality in view of different requirements

Every RÖLTGEN product has been galvanic plated and is protected against corrosion. It goes without saying that any waste water resulting from these treatments are being detoxicated and disposed of according to regulations of environmental protection.

Manually Adjustable Numbering Heads

Manually adjustable numbering heads come with tool holding fixtures for presses. Marking wheels with 10 figures, characters or signs with 1 blank, engraving according to DIN 1451. Adjustable figures or characters can be figured out on display.

Technology

The ROLTGEN Portadot LD2 (light duty) is a fully programmable dot marking machine which can easily be moved from one application to another around any industrial commercial site. The well established dot marking technology has been engineered to fit into the most compact programmable marking solution available from ROLTGEN.

Lightweight

Weighing only 2.3 kgs the ROLTGEN Portadot LD2 ensures operator fatigue is minimised while productivity is maximised.

Portable

The patented aluminium marking head protected in a tough polymer case allows the Portadot LD2 to be used in most industrial environments reducing the need to transport heavy items requiring marking to the machine.

Highly Flexible

The 50 mm by 25 mm marking area suits most marking applications from a single programmable system. Variable force control to ensure optimum mark depth for all engineering materials up to 62 Rc (800 Hv).  The lead-screw driven marking head guarantees dot precision unmatched on any other portable system meaning the Portadot LD2 is capable of 2D DataMatrix code marking applications.

Easy to use out of the box

The compact ergonomic design has been created with ease of use in mind.  High functionality software ensures operator training is minimised and production efficiency is maximised.  The multilingual user interface allows users to choose between different character fonts and type sizes as well as angular and arc marking, serial numbers, date and time marking.

Quiet, Fast and Efficient Marking

Requiring no compressed air supply and powered only by a standard 240 volt (110 volt available) electric source the Portadot LD2 is both highly efficient and is significantly quieter than pneumatically actuated systems.

Wide Range of Options

Standard hardware options include Vee plates for marking round components, base and column for bench mounted applications, extended connecting cable upto 6m (3m standard) and battery pack option for complete freedom of movement. The Windows Software option allows users to control the system through a familiar PC windows interface enhancing networking and data storage capabilities.
