An important development for Eshuis is the digital printing of labels and flexible packaging. Digital printing presses are especially interesting for small and medium sized runs.
The advantages are low costs, high quality and no unnecessary loss of basic materials. Eshuis has four digital printing presses at its disposal. Two printing presses are used for the digital printing of labels. The third press is used specifically to print flexible packaging. The fourth press is dedicated to printing silk paper for cheese labels.
A received file can be sent directly to the printing press after a short processing time when printing digitally. No films or plates are required. The printing press contains a photosensitive plate that is exposed again and printed with every rotation. The quality of the printing is excellent. |
