- New control platform streamlines operation and helps users to comply with GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11 - Increased reliability due to no mechanical or moving parts - Flexibility allows combination with either with a Rexroth, Siemens or Allen Bradley IO rack
Tevopharm B.V., a Bosch Packaging Technology Company, has unveiled a new state of the art control platform on its Pack-2000(BM) flow wrapping machine at Achema 2006. The Pack 2000 is ideal for wrapping products such as bottles, syringes, vials, blisters and inhalers.
The architecture of this new control platform helps users to comply with regulations such as GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11. For example, the new control platform combines functions for motion and logic into one controller increasing reliability through fewer parts and components. Also, the embedded controller has no mechanical or moving parts offering users easy maintenance and increased reliability.
The new controller is also highly flexible and can be combined, either with a Rexroth, Siemens or Allen Bradley IO rack.
Connectivity is another benefit for users with features such as flashdisk data storage as well as on board UPS data storage. No special programming software or hardware is required and knowledge of only one software language is required in accordance with IEC61131. This further reduces the cost of maintenance.
