Corby, U.K., Cardinal Health, the leading provider of products and services supporting the health care industry, today announced it received FDA approval of its packaging services site in Corby, Northamptonshire, UK.

Following the FDA site inspection and subsequent approval, the Corby facility may now package product for the US market to further serve our European customers.  Cardinal Health is the largest pharmaceutical contract packager in the UK. Capabilities include blister packaging (child resistant/senior friendly), walleting, bottle filling, sachet filling, encapsulation, cartoning, hand assembly and re-working. Other services offered are full project management (outsourcing), regulatory support, and laboratory analysis from formulation/discovery through to QP Release to market.

Other European-based packaging services sites of Cardinal Health are in Schorndorf, Germany, Dublin, Ireland, and Bolton in the UK.
