Bosch Packaging Technology combines its SVE 2510 QR continuous motion vertical form fill and seal machine with a CVA 3000 V45 aroma protection valve applicator for coffee packages. To adapt flexibly to new coffee market trends, the modular SVE 2510 QR allows for quick and easy format changes, including pillow and gusseted bags, corner sealed block-bottom bags, and Doy-style stand-up pouches. This vertical machine achieves output levels of up to 180 pillow packs per minute.

The reliable and accurate CVA 3000 V45 aroma protection valve applicator can apply up to 105 aroma protection valves per minute, which are fed in via a revolving unit. The applicator is positioned between the film infeed and the form fill and seal machine's bag forming section. Using servo technology, the perforating device is perfectly synchronized with the film infeed, ensuring exact positioning of the outer valve directly above the perforation. Various control sensors on the applicator check the accuracy of each step, offering a high level of process security. The sensors perform quality control of the film perforation as well as a precision check of the fluid layer between film and protection valve. The reliable CVA 3000 V45 aroma protection valve applicator is suitable for all Bosch continuous motion vertical form fill and seal machines and package makers and is retrofittable on third-party products.

Servo technology also accounts for the SVE 2510 QR’s high continuity and speed levels. This technology supports the smooth transportation and easy sealing of packaging material by vertical and horizontal movements.

In the production of Doy-style stand-up pouches the machine achieves output levels of up to 100 packages per minute. The SVE 2510 QR series is not just suitable for the packaging of ground coffee, coffee beans and pads, but also for other free-flowing products in the food, confectionery and chemical sectors.
