NAPERVILLE,IL- The Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) is the leading individual membership organisation serving the educational needs of the packaging community. They announced their 2002 Honorary Life, College of Fellows and Member of the Year recipients for exceptional professional contributions throughout the years. Mr.Stu Smith was among the distinguished professionals recognized as a Honorary Life Member. This award identifies excellence in the field of packaging through knowledge, skills and conduct of a dedicated packaging professional. In addition to Honorary Life Member, Mr.Smith received an IoPP College of Fellows award in 2001 and has been reconized as National Nominee for the Volunteer award of Excellence-Junior Achievement in 2000 and a Packaging Audit Case Study-Paper Sales in 1990. He is an active participant in the Junior Achievement as Consultant for the past 8 years, Board Chairman for 2 years and Board Member for 8 years. He has served as a mentor and speaker for the MSU student chapter of IoPP and is the Treasurer of the Western Michigan Chapter since 1996. Mr.Smith works at Ship-Pac for the past 39 years in Sales, Sales Management and is currently the Marketing Manager.
