Biography

Dr. Karlheinz is Sr. Research Associate with DuPont de Nemours International. He graduated in Materials Science from the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg, Germany, in 1982 and obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne Switzerland in 1987. From there he joined DuPont de Nemours Intl. in Geneva Switzerland. Here he was holding various positions in R&D and Technical Service and Development at DuPonts Experimental Station, Wilmington, DE and DuPonts Technical Center in Meyrin, Switzerland , in the field of ethylene copolymers for wire and cable as well as for packaging and industrial applications. He is currently focusing on developments for intelligent and active packaging solutions and polymer modification
