Menz Crown Mints, produced by South Australia's Robern Menz, are now being sold in new sealed packs - the brand's first makeover in 10 years.
Robern Menz CEO, Philip Sims, said the new packs were more conference and restaurant-friendly than the previous twist wrap packaging.
"The stronger seal optimises the product's freshness and, from a practical perspective, you can fit more mints in a bowl," Sims said.
Made from 100% natural ingredients, Crown Mints have been part of Menz since 1982 and today, more than 200 million mints are produced annually for both domestic consumption and export. The machine first used to produce the tablet peppermints can still be found at the company's outlet at McLaren vale - the Medlow Confectionery & Fruchocs Showcase.
Individually wrapped Menz Crown Mints are distributed throughout South Australia by foodservice companies, Bidvest, Cash and Carry, Galipo, John Lewis Food Service and PFD Food Service. Product is also available via Robern Menz's factory outlet shop at Glynde and the Medlow Confectionery & Fruchocs Showcase in McLaren Vale. |
