UNIFILL
A plastic portion packaging system for food and non-food products based on an innovative form-fill-seal machine concept.
Introduction to Unifill Plastic Packaging System
The Unifill System is an attractive, user-friendly system for plastic packaging of liquids and semi-liquids which complements the well established Pure-Pak®.
It is a thermoform, fill and seal process for plastic containers with numerous applications for food and non-foods.
Using a vertical thermoforming technique, two thin films of plastic sheet are pre-heated and formed into strips of monodose portion packs. The strips are then filled with liquid or semi-liquid product, the top is sealed and the strips are cut into individual shaped packages or sales units of 5 to 15 doses, depending on volume and shape - a truly innovative method of plastic packaging.

UNIFILL PLASTIC PORTION PACK
Unifill in Brief
There are few portion packaging formats available that match the sheer versatility of a Unifill package. Unifill's primary strength is its ability to mimic a brand's look, even a premium look, but without the costs normally associated with prestige packaging. It also brings distinctiveness, easy access and packaging economy. A powerful marketing armoury.
Unifill Technology
Unifill is based on a combination of two well-established technologies: the use of thermoformable plastic sheet in a form, fill and seal packaging system combined with the use of the blow-moulding system. These two technologies have been further developed and patented in unique and compact monobloc machines.
FORM-FILL-SEAL MACHINES
The standard Unifill machines are innovative, state-of-the-art, vertical thermoform-fill-seal machines that create uniquely shaped, multi-dimensional, single-serve portion packages from 1 to 150 ml. A range of filler types are available to meet different product characteristics and hygienic requirements.
Unifill Form-Fill-Seal Machines
Unifill is engineering, building, supplying and servicing state-off-the-art form-fill-seal machines for their extensive range of portion packaging.
Concepts
A variety of international packaging panels have recognised Unifill's contribution to the field of innovative and cost conscious packaging design and have presented packaging awards to Unifill: Oscars dell'Imballagio in Italy, Interphex Award in the United Kingdom and Oscar de l'Emballage in France.
