Precision Fluid Application / Dispensing Equipment


EFD produces world-class assembly fluid application equipment. Our product line is offered worldwide with local application assistance in over 30 countries.

Production and manufacturing engineers can select from a range of equipment to improve benchtop bonding operations or to configure their own assembly fluid dispensing system for automated production lines. In either case, EFD offers an unconditional performance guarantee and the application assistance to make it happen.

All types of assembly fluids (such as cyanoacrylates, light-cure adhesives, epoxies, solvents, grease, sealants, threadlockers, solder pastes or brazing pastes) are applied in controlled, consistent amounts. All EFD® dispensing systems are manufactured and inspected by EFD in the USA. Dispensing components are molded by EFD in an EFD silicone-free facility and are certified safe for industrial use.

ULTRA® 2400 SERIES DISPENSING WORKSTATION

EFD`s new Ultra® 2400 workstation is a precision dispensing system that applies accurate, consistent amounts of adhesives, lubricants, silicones, epoxies and other fluids used in benchtop assembly processes  - from neat, controlled beads to uniform dots as small as 0.004 inches in diameter.

Benefits of the system`s consistent fluid application include higher yields, reduced fluid costs, better process control, and shorter training time for new operators.

The workstation features a unique vertical design that conserves benchtop space, and a footprint 60% smaller than standard electro-pneumatic dispenser configurations.

Several accessories are available to enhance productivity and customize the Ultra 2400 workstation for different applications. Options include a flexible task light, a 1.7X magnifier for precision closeup work, a flexible syringe barrel holder that acts as a convenient ``third hand,`` and an ergonomic barrel grip with a touch-sensor finger switch and LED spotlight to illuminate the dispensing area.

STATIC DISSIPATIVE DISPENSING COMPONENTS

SYRINGE FILLING STATIONS

New syringe fillers (8000BF Series) for critical fill or high volume use.

Use an inexpensive syringe filling station and get better productivity at your dispense stations. No mess, no waste.

Most pourable fluids are easy to fill. For reactive pourable fluids (cyanoacrylates for example), use the inert fill valve, 752V-UH.

Nonpourable sealants, adhesives, grease and pastes supplied in small squeeze tubes can easily be transferred into Ultra® syringes.

With fluids (such as sealants, grease and vinyl adhesives) supplied in 1/10 gallon cartridges, the 940BL syringe filler is easy for short runs.

For cartridge packaged nonpourable fluids, specify the 920 Series manual filler based on cartridge type/size, or consider the advanced 8000BF Series fill system.

For fast volumetric filling, the 8000BF Series can be used with any pressure reservoir. All EFD® syringe fillers handle all Ultra® syringe sizes--3cc to 55cc.

TROUBLE-FREE CYANOACRYLATE DISPENSING SYSTEMS

EFD offers a line of dispensing systems specifically designed to apply cyanoacrylate accurately and with significantly less mess and maintenance issues than traditional methods.

In benchtop assembly areas, microprocessor-based, air powered dispensers or efficient hand valves (Remove Hyperlink) eliminate the waste and guesswork of squeeze bottles, toothpicks and other conventional applicators.

Precise deposit control of cyanoacrylates improves bond strength (less is better) and often reduces adhesive use by 60% or more. Lower costs, better products with better product appearance.

For high speed automation, the reliability and drip-free design of the EFD diaphragm valves significantly lowers maintenance costs and, where used, will eliminate the continuous replacement costs of pinch tube valves.

SolderPlus® - Soldering System PrintPlus - - Soldering System

NEW RADIAL SPINNER SYSTEM

The new Radial Spinner System applies consistent amounts of adhesives, lubricants and other production fluids inside cylindrical parts between 0.4`` and 5`` in diameter.

The Radial Spinner System combines a compact air-driven motor, low-maintenance EFD dispense valve and ValveMateª controller. The valve dispenses a precisely metered amount of fluid onto a spinning disk attached to the motor. As fluid reaches the edge of the disk it spins off, forming a neat band inside the part.

ProcessMate™ 6100 - NEW ProcessMate™ 6100 HOT AIR REFLOW SYSTEM

This digital bench top reflow system uses an active feedback loop to accurately control air temperature to ± 5ºC. Temperature ranges from 100ºC to 480ºC adjustable in 1ºC increments. The diaphragm pump provides an adjustable, repeatable, constant air flow..
