E2M/Polytron has created a uniquely effective program that incorporates the skill sets of a team of engineers, training experts, and client and vendor personnel. Through this program, E2M/Polytron becomes a virtual training department for clients, providing training oversight, course development and delivery, and the tools for second generation client facilitated training. The success of this program is the conversion of information into productivity and the resulting impact on the bottom line.
This paper is intended to be a discussion of the E2M/Polytron training program via a review of the services that are available and the learning model that serves as the foundation for all E2M/Polytron training activities, a brief description of the specific E2M/Polytron training services offered with an explanation of the utility of each one, learning model structure with a brief review of the adult learning theories that provide the validation for the model, related efforts by other organizations and discussion of planned improvements to the E2M/Polytron process. E2M/Polytron provide a tested means of accomplishing training goals, one that integrates the skills of engineers and training specialists to ensure the best possible program implemented in the same way, every time.
