Nanotechnology has the ability to revolutionize the way materials are designed, manufactured, and used. It is already making a big impact on the food industry, particularly in flavor delivery and packaging.
The National Nanotechnology Center (Nanotec) is helping the Thai food industry by developing products that can support the industry across the entire value chain. The center will focus on three key areas: nutraceutical delivery systems, food packaging and food-safety systems.
Sidel presented a new robotic palletizing application at the Interpack 2008.
