Michael Goertz joined Avery Dennison Printer Systems Division, (formerly Paxar), in November of 2006 as an RFID Supplies Staff Engineer. In that capacity, Michael manages and controls the RFID lab in the Miamisburg, Ohio facility and the RFID supplies qualification processes for Monarch brand printers. Michael also provides test support for Operations and customer support for RFID technology.

Michael has a strong background in engineering design methodology and team project management. Before joining Avery Dennison, Michael was Project Manager for RFID reader mixed-signal ASIC design at Analog Devices Incorporated in Boston, MA. He also held positions in wireless infrastructure and optical system digital design during his 5 years with ADI.

Michael has a Masters and a BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and has past experience with Texas Instruments, Microsoft and MIT Media Laboratory.
