Chris Chow is Vice President of Engineering at Preco Laser Systems, LLC (PLS). He holds a Ph.D. in Laser Physics from University of Minnesota. Chris has extensive industrial experience including product development, system integration and business management in the areas of imaging, digital printing, thin-film coating, and laser applications. He has been involved in transitioning successful new products utilizing innovative technologies for the past twenty plus years. During the last four years, Chris has led the business development of laser systems for the flexible packaging and converting industry. PLS pioneers the development of AcuTearTM and AcuBreatheTM product lines to help manufacturers in segments of the flexible packaging industry keep pace with converting process changes and meet consumer demands on convenient features. Chris has contributed several articles to the flexible packaging magazines and was a Pack Expo conference speaker on Laser Processing of Flexible Packaging for Improved Quality and Customer Convenience
