In his 18 years with DuPont, Barry has held a variety of research and technical service positions. He is currently a Senior Technology Associate in the R&D group of DuPont’s ethylene copolymers business in Wilmington, DE. His research interests include polymer blends, compounding, rheology, extrusion, co-extrusion and film and coating converting processes. He is an expert in adhesion and has developed a number of adhesive polymers for the co-extrusion film and extrusion coating industries.

Barry received a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. from Princeton University. He also has a MBA from the University of Delaware. He has over 30 publications in the area of polymer processing.

He is a member of TAPPI and the Society of Plastics Engineers Extrusion Division Board of Directors.
