The combinations are endless which gives you the opportunity to take printing not just one but many steps further.

Computerised quotes have been part of Allkotes’ culture for many years. It means you get instant, immediate prices for your inquiries. Remember, when you place your order, jot down the quote number, the quantity required and include a marked-up sheet to show the area to be laminated, the finished trim size and, please, mark your grip and side lay edges.

Laminations

PlastaKote

Traditionally, the ultimate finish. A full gloss plastic film lamination offering flexibility, tear resistance and long term durability. Especially suitable where work is to be grained, embossed, scored or casebound. Used extensively on magazines, book jackets, annual reports, postcards, prestige packaging and presentations such as cosmetics, perfumes, liquor, clothing and jewellery.

MatteKote

It looks different. It feels different. Offers the other end of the spectrum to gloss with a superior matt finish and the added attraction of a smooth, sophisticated touch. Also a film lamination to paper or board, so all the advantages of durability and strength are there for special presentations such as book covers, magazines, annual reports, brochures, prestige cartons for cosmetics, liquor etc. The feel and finish of MatteKote is the main reason for the prominence of this product in the market place. For the ultimate finish, add gloss SpotKote to make your graphic really stand out.

KeyKote

A full, deep gloss lamination which is strong, durable and more readily printable after lamination and more readily glued with most PVA’s and Hot Melts. It may not look different to PlastaKote but it brings film lamination within the boundaries of all users who might have been restricted in the past because of limited resources in glueability and foil stamping.A KeyKote Matt is also available.

SilkKote

If you are looking for something between gloss and matt lamination, consider SilkKote. Some say that it looks like the printed sheet/book cover is not laminated, but the process is a lamination so you enjoy all the benefits of film lamination in terms of strength and long-term durability. Perfect for book covers where a more subtle look is desired.

WindowKote

Offers all the benefits of film lamination with the ability to leave a window to highlight your product inside the carton. It is an economic alternative to window patching while leaving your carton with an eye catching gloss finish. All we require is that the desired panel is cut out of the printed sheet prior to laminating. It is also important to contact our sales people in regard to your requirements as the layout of the window requires pre-planning.

BossKote

All the impact of an embossed laminated printed sheet without the need to emboss. Looks particularly striking with a gloss lamination, but a matt finish is available for certain graphics. Ideal for book covers, brochures or any promotional material for when you want to add feel to the laminated print.

Strip Lamination

Plastic film lamination offering flexibility, tear resistance and long term durability. Ideal for work on manila folders and tubing where protection is needed along delicate traffic areas.

FancyKote

A fancy film which is designed for other things but is making an impact in paper lamination. Offers a radiant, iridescent finish which moves with the light and the movement of the sheet. Comes in a variety of multicoloured variations such as Blue/Purple, Pink/Blue & Yellow/Pink. It’s so fancy; you have to see the film to get the full effect. So ask for samples.
