Stork Service: Total Care
Stork Food & Dairy Systems and Stork Bottling Systems have divided the service activities in 3 categories:
Daily Care:
The global Stork organisation guarantees its clients the best possible support. On all continents Stork has its own business locations (and agents) with competent technicians and spare parts storerooms so that quick assistance is just around the corner. Telephone support, for a greater part from your own time zone, rendered by a Stork employee will expedite a quick solution to an acute problem.
Preventive Care
Stork provides various types of maintenance contracts such as:
- Semi-annually a complete inspection of the machines
- Inspections, combined with simple maintenance
- Regular (for instance, monthly) maintenance
- A detailed maintenance program, if desired in combination with remote monitoring via a modem-interface
- Taking inventory and keeping the stock of parts in the client`s storeroom at an adequate level.
Apart from that, it is always possible to conclude a `customised` contract fully commensurate with your company`s needs.
Lifetime Care:
Herewith Stork ensures that your existing installation does not have to be replaced by a new one, in the event you switch over to a new product, a new method of packaging or a new process.
Line and System Audits
An audit performed by Stork presents a clear picture of the technical situation during down times and while re-setting, causes of failures and possible product rejects, unintentional operating errors etc. On the basis of that report a plan may be drawn up to restore the line to its former functional capability, or even improve it by modifying or replacing specific components, optimally adjusting the systems and sometimes instructing the operating personnel. Frequently this will involve a structured approach, at which time the effects can be examined after each step as well as the financial and practical consequences of a subsequent step.
Updating and Retrofit
Technical development does not stand still. New materials, more sophisticated computer systems and additional insights in techniques and systems spawn improvement in design and construction of new installations. To have the existing installations benefit from these developments as well, Stork endeavours the highest possible backward compatibility when pursuing new developments. In this light, a large number of modification and expansion packages have been developed, with which existing systems and lines may be thoroughly made up to date again.
Line Removal, Combination and Optimization
Stork has accumulated a fund of experience with these sorts of activities. Stork technicians can, if desired, in close cooperation with your own technical service department, attend to a trouble-free move, modification, optimization and rebuilding. And, what is very important, owing to a good systematic planning and preparation, this can be done quickly, therefore with a minimum of production loss.
