The filler has a maximum capacity of 18,000 one-litre (32-ounce) bottles per hour. The open-type bottles are sterilized in the filler, then dried and filled, and lastly sealed with a PE-coated aluminium foil cap. All under absolutely sterile conditions. In combination with correct UHT treatment, this produces a product which is shelf-stable and stays fresh for up to five months or longer without refrigeration. This aseptic filler can be switched to another bottle size without re-tooling (i.e. minimal changeover time without interim sterilization of the system).

The filler is equipped with various air treatment systems that ensure a guaranteed aseptic atmosphere within the diverse critical areas during the filling process. Prior to start-up, a fully automated process ensures the sterilization of the filler itself, the air systems with the filters and the product circuit. The Stork Asep-Tec
The unique, flexible and reliable aseptic filler for handling a wide range of bottles. The Asep-Tec is unique linear aseptic filler, distinguished by its ability to handle, high speed and an exceptional measure of reliability and flexibility. By utilising a special neck transport system, it is possible to fill a large variety of bottle shapes and sizes without the necessity of effecting a conversion or in-process sterilization. The changeover over to another product is effected under aseptic conditions as well.
This filler is suitable to fill products with varying degrees of viscosities. Products containing solid particles are filled in a trouble-free way by the Asep-Tec. Due to the modular design, an Asep-Tec can always be designed to comply with the latest market developments at a later stage. For instance, it is possible to switch over from open to closed aseptically blown bottles or conversely. It is possible to add additional filling valves as well as a facility for injecting nitrogen.
To operate the Asep-Tec Stork has developed its own, unique system. Automatic programs are available for all of the operations such as the normal production, the cleaning and the sterilization process. Each operation can be directly followed on the screen. The screen has been configured as a touch screen so that the operator has direct access to all information.
