Our stair mat press BMP-120 is used together with hot melt application units of our Slautterback or DuraBlueTM lines.
Combining both machines allows a highly efficient, cost saving and nearly odor free production of stair mats in all sizes from 200 mm up to 720 mm width. All rectangular L-profiles up to max. 30 x 55 mm size can be glued and pressed to nearly all types of carpet backings. During design and construction of both stair mat press and hot melt unit, highest importance was attached to rugged workmanship for a long lifetime as well as easy operation even for unskilled workers. Thus the production of stair mats may start immediately after a short introduction.
The worker just presses the start button, puts the carpet over the coated L-profile and operates manually the toggle joint, which can be adjusted up to 1000 kgs press force. Three modes of glue application are adjustable according to the types of carpet backings: a) single application for smooth and flexible surfaces, b) double application for rough surfaces, c) single plus end application for higher corner stability.
