Direct marketing firm W.A. Wilde Co. said it has acquired G3 Packaging and Services Corp. in Cincinnati. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
The combined operation, including G3’s 20 employees and the 20 people Wilde employs at its Chesterdale Road facility, will move into a new, 141,000-square-foot facility in West Chester, according to a news release.
The acquisition will boost Wilde’s local business by about 30 percent, the company said.
G3, like Wilde, a family-owned company, had been based on Glendale-Milford Road. Dave Gilbert, who had been president of G3, will serve as manager of the combined Cincinnati operation, Wilde said.
“The success of our Cincinnati operations reinforced our belief that this represents a strategic logistical distribution point, and the acquisition of G3 Packaging and Services strengthens our capabilities in Ohio,” said Tom Wilde, president and CEO of Wilde Cos., in the release.
W.A. Wilde, headquartered in Holliston, Mass., opened its Cincinnati facility, its first outside Massachusetts, in 2007. |
