Thermoforming Machines
Thermoforming Machines Multivac thermoforming machines are the ideal choice for fully automatic packaging of food products, various industrial and consumer products and sterile medical products. The package molds are formed from a lower web by heat and pressure, and loaded manually or automatically on the machine. After that the packages are evacuated and backflushed with modified atmosphere (if required), hermetically sealed to an upper web, separated, channelised and removed. The advantages of Multivac thermoforming machines: They provide low packaging costs, thanks to their high throughput and potential of saving material and labour costs, and they meet highest hygiene standards. Recently Multivac has introduced a new generation of thermoforming machines. The machines feature a completely new hygienic design that is consistently optimized for sanitation. Thus the cleaning process is accelerated and simplified, and more control about the ensurance of a hygienic machine state is achieved with less effort and costs. This principle has also been engineered into the interior parts of the machine, e.g. the new patented open design of chain and chain guide which allows for the easy removal of contaminants, without the need for disassembling the chain. Further developments in terms of design engineering and functions allow for increased process security and efficiency. All thermoformers described in the following are part of this new generation. Every product has a pack that is specifically designed for its particular application: with a vacuum or a modified atmosphere, made from rigid or flexible film or an aluminum-based material combination, in the required shape, with an opening aid, a reclosure facility, coding etc. Every machine is designed and manufactured to meet the specific needs of the individual user, so that it can be integrated smoothly into the production process. There are six basic product lines: R 125: the 'economy' machine - rational upgrade to fully automatic packaging for small manufacturers R 145: the compact one- little space required, for first time users and smaller capacity requirements R 245: the economic solution- versatile, for medium to medium output requirements R 535: the high-tech machine- the most extensive machine system for maximum capacity requirements R 175 CD, R 275 CD and R 575 CD: the Darfresh skin packaging machines R 150, R 250 and R 550: the FormShrink thermoforming machines The R 145 is part of the new generation of thermoforming machines Multivac has introduced recently. Traysealer Machines
Traysealers Multivac traysealers are used for sealing of pre-made trays. The trays are selected from a wide range of different sizes, divisions, materials and colours, in accordance with the application areas and marketing objectives. All pre-produced, sealable trays can be processed whether they are standard film or foamed film trays, coated board or aluminium trays, i.e. including materials that are not thermoformable. As lid film, all heat-sealable films can be processed. Register-printed lid films can be used as well if the machine is equipped with a register mark control system (T 400, T 550). The trays are either filled separately and are then loaded in the traysealer or they are filled directly on the traysealer. All the subsequent production operations are carried out automatically: upper web infeed, evacuation and gas flushing (if required), sealing and then channelisation and removal of the finished packs. Key elements of Multivac traysealers are designed and produced specially to satisfy the individual customer`s specific requirements. The Multivac traysealer range consists of six machines with different capacities: T 200 - the semi-automatic and compact traysealer for lower requirements T 250 - semi-automatic traysealer with almost the capacity of fully automatic entry-level systems T 350 - fully automatic, compact machine for smaller capacity requirements T 400 - fully automatic, flexible machine system for medium-sized capacity requirements T 450 - powerful high-speed traysealer for larger capacity requirements T 500 - the high-tech traysealers with maximum upgrade potential, for large capacity requirements

Chamber Machines
Chamber Machines for Vacuum and Gas Packing Chamber machines are made for packaging products of many different types and sizes in pre-made film pouches. The product to be packaged is loaded into a film pouch and is placed in the vacuum chamber. When the lid has been closed, the air is withdrawn and a vacuum is created in the chamber and therefore also in the pouch. The pouch is either sealed with a vacuum or the chamber is filled with an inert gas to give a modified atmosphere pack. Chamber machines are designed for universal use. Practically anything that fits in a pouch and a vacuum chamber can be packaged. Vacuum packers are mainly standard specifications that are adapted to the individual customer`s requirements by choosing from a selection of different options. Relatively small investment is required. By that, small businesses are provided with the equipment they need to efficiently and economically produce retail packs and supply packs. Larger companies benefit above all from the possibility to easily package various product sizes. Multivac supplies a complete range of vacuum packaging machines, consisting of - table-top machines- floor standing machines- swing-lid machines- large-chamber machines- conveyor belt machines and extensive accessories (e. g. shrink tanks), which extend the chamber machine to a production line. All Multivac chamber machines are equipped with the new menu based control MC 06. The graphical LC display with static and dynamic pictures and clear text messages enables a clear process representation and comfortable operation.

Conveyor Belt Machines
Conveyor Belt Machines Conveyor Belt Machines B 400 and B 500 When large products need to be packed quickly, economically and with flexibility, then the conveyor belt machines B 400 and B 500 are the right choice. Fast: two long seal bars, a spacious chamber lid, high packaging speed Flexible: practically anything that fits into a pouch and the vacuum chamber can be packed Economic: proven, reliable Multivac technology in machines that retain their value, backed by a global customer service network The conveyor belt machines can therefore be used anywhere and is ''at home'' wherever it is used: whether packaging fresh meat primals in a cutting plant, whole cheese in a dairy or large plastic foam pads in a furniture factory, the machines can be integrated smoothly into any production and packaging operation thanks to their hygienic and easy to clean stainless steel design. If required, the conveyor belt machines can be incorporated into an efficient packaging line by fitting infeed and discharge conveyors, a shrink tank, drying tunnel, labeler and other useful ancillary equipment.
