Total Print Inspection Solution
The ISRA Print Inspection System consists of one or more high-resolution digital color line-scan cameras and standard PC technology. The "brain" of the system is the SMASH Web Processor developed by ISRA, optimized for the converting industry with over 1000 installations. ISRA’s Print Inspection, in contrast to traversing sampling systems, inspect 100% of the web 100% of the time using one or more stationary cameras that view the entire web or sheet. System can inspect continuous web or sheets.

ISRA’s SURFACE INSPECTOR PRINT module uses an innovative pattern-matching algorithm that enables the precise inspection of complex, free form structures. The high computing power enables the electronic compensation of sheet or web positioning tolerances. The system can be integrated in various machines and can achieve inspection at press speeds of up to several hundred meters per minute.

The very latest color line-scan cameras are used as the "eyes" during the print inspection. When monitoring color deviations is not necessary, monochrome (grayscale) cameras are employed.
