Half-Slotted Containers (HSC) are similar to an RSC, but with only one set of flaps. They are useful when an open-top container is desired. When used with a slightly larger (companion) HSC, the result is a full telescope half slotted box (FTHS), which provides extra product protection and stacking strength.
