Biography

Rebecca Ortiz is the Technical Leader of the Barrier Properties Laboratory at Impact Analytical, Midland, MI. She has a BS in Polymers and Coatings from Eastern Michigan University, along with 13 years of industrial experience in coatings research, specializing in new product development.

Phillip DeLassus is a professor of Chemistry at the University of Texas-Pan American. He has a BS in Chemistry from Valparaiso University and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Chicago. His professional career includes 23 years of polymer research at The Dow Chemical Company with a focus on mass transport.
